Steinzeugkrug (stoneware beer stein) with hand-painted design, Mahr’s logo and solid cast pewter lid – salt glazed & blued and in traditional cobalt blue from the house of
Girmscheid, in the Eifel. Like us, this traditional pottery house has a love of tradition. Each beer stein is unique and fired at 1200° C in an open kiln, just as it was 100 years ago. Once you have held this stein, you may never want to put it down, however, for the record, it is best to keep it in hand, filled to the brim with a cool Mahr.
