For excellent beer you need hops of the highest quality that are cultivated with love. These are grown for Mahr’s Bräu in Hallertau. Grown in the fields of Sebastian Kürzinger – an experienced IGN hops grower – are the hops which make Mahr’s Bräu beer so special. Planted by hand, the secret to these hops lies not only in their loving care, the right amount of rainfall and hours of sunshine, but also in the quality of the soil. There are no machines used in these fields. Everything that happens on these fields is done by hand.
